About this role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a an experienced, proven and highly motivated Business Development Manager to secure quality growth business across the range of Yoogo Fleet products and services to new customers.

Working as part of a national business development team, you'll utilise your existing industry contacts, originators, and channel partners to secure quality new business growth across the greater Auckland region.

Equally comfortable working with senior client stakeholders and day to day operational contacts across all business categories, you'll use your proven consultative selling abilities to provide Fleet Management and Leasing strategy and solutions to prospective customers, while working collaboratively with our larger SFG network to originate and seek out opportunities for driving Yoogo's growth and profitability goals.

Reporting to the General Manager – Business Development, you will be an integral member of the Sales Team and will have the scope, freedom and support to win new client opportunities, and be rewarded at market leading rates for your success, with NO CAP on your earning potential.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • To identify, prospect and secure quality new customer growth business for Yoogo Fleet
  • To achieve Yoogo Fleet target margins in the total range of Yoogo Fleet products and services, contributing to the rate of return required by shareholders
  • To develop and maintain professional and beneficial relationships, both in person and via relevant technology channels, with appropriate prospective customers, introducers, and channel partners within a geographic area of responsibility
  • To create and promote increased awareness of total Yoogo Fleet products and services across all relevant sales channels, including participation in industry events and networking opportunities
  • To identify additional group sales opportunities and work with group business partners when and where appropriate.
  • To work collaboratively with account management staff to handover new accounts in a timely and thorough manner, to ensure ongoing account growth and success.
  • Ensure personal and team budget is achieved through a strong personal contribution.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Proven success in a previous corporate B2B sales origination role, specifically in a 'solution sales' market segment (minimum 5 years)
  • Strong experience in B2B / corporate presentations, sales negotiations, and consultative selling
  • A high level of personal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience within either the Leasing, Fleet Management, Financial services, SaaS, or Recruitment industries (desirable but not essential)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Competence with MS Word / PowerPoint / Excel (medium level)
  • Adaptability in a rapidly changing business environment with a willingness to learn new skills as necessary
