About this role:
We're a rapidly growing finance business looking for a Systems Accountant to support our team of Accountants across all aspects of planning, preparation and delivery strategy for the systems ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the systems. You will be an integral member of the Finance Team.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Continuous improvement in the efficiency & effectiveness of systems used for financial recording, reporting and analysis.
- System development specifications on behalf of Finance that ensure all system developments have appropriate attention to the needs of the Finance Team with respect to financial impacts.
- Undertake appropriate User Acceptance Testing programmes
What you will need to succeed:
- Relevant University Degree
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in finance and systems focused roles
- Ability to effectively communicate financial and systems concepts
- Ability to work within tight timeframe
- Ability to understand financial controls and welcomes process improvements
- Previous experience in a variety of systems would be advantageous
