About this role:

As the GM Sales of Yoogo Fleet you will be a member of the Speirs Finance Group leadership team, providing direct input into the Group's strategic direction. You will be responsible for driving the overall business strategy, sales, and growth of the sales and growth of the company.

Established in 2015, Yoogo Fleet saw a real opportunity to innovate the market and create a transparent, data- led, smart range of connected Financial, Fleet Management and Leasing products, specifically tailored for New Zealand business fleets. You will be joining an established team of talented fleet specialists with deep experience and fleet expertise.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Actively participating as a member of the Speirs Finance Group Leadership team; developing and executing a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Establishing and achieving key sales metrics and performance indicators, fostering and nurturing strong relationships with customers and key partners, and developing strategies to maximize sales, revenue, and market share
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Driving sales growth and customer satisfaction and retention by ensuring exceptional service and support
  • Managing a high performance national sales team

What you will need to succeed:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience at GM Sales or similar level, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role. A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential
  • Strong understanding of fleet leasing and fleet management and/or automotive finance
  • Demonstrated experience in driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence
  • Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and decision-making skills
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proven ability to collaborate, build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience leading, mentoring, coaching and developing a high performing sales team
