About this role:

In this key Finance Analyst role, you will work collaboratively with the wider Finance team to deliver key processes and journals for month end. You will also work collaboratively with the Finance and IT teams in completing development testing work and implementing process improvement initiatives for the Finance team.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the broader Finance team to complete key journals and day to day Finance processes for SFG.
• Report and analysis as required
• Collaborating with the IT and broader Finance Team to implement system upgrades including extensive testing and user acceptance, ensuring Finance is integrated as much as possible with other processes
• Collaborating with the broader Finance team to identify process improvement ideas
• Implementing process improvement initiatives identified

What you will need to succeed:

• Minimum 2-3 years' Accounting experience in NZ (finance industry experience will be advantageous)
• Bachelor of Commerce Degree and preferably are working towards Chartered Accountant qualification
• Have a good working knowledge with accounting principles and standards
• Ability to work within a tight timeframe
• Ability to communicate effectively with broad range of stakeholders
